First Contact Physiotherapist

Physician assistant (or PAs) are healthcare professionals with a generalist medical education who work alongside doctors. Providing medical care as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.

PAs work under the supervision of a doctor but can work autonomously with appropriate support.

First Contact Physiotherapist – Provide patients with direct access to physiotherapists, most commonly for the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders (MSK), without the need for a prior assessment or referral from a GP.
